Agrihotel Elisabetta of Luigi Brunetti is situated on a splendid hill of the antique noble village called Collemezzano, today part of Cecina in the Province of Livorno, only a few kilometres from the Tyrrhenian Sea, the so called Etruscan coast. 

The farm and the antique farmhouse (today the owner's dwelling), are embedded within 25 hectares of land, cultivated with vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees. Agrihotel Elisabetta has 31 double rooms, 3 suites for 4 and 6 people, 2 apartments, all tastefully furnished in the typical Tuscan country style and equipped with all mods and cons. 
Part of the hotel is also a restaurant with spacious hall and bar, where it is possible to taste the delicious dishes of Luigi Brunetti's wholesome and genuine cuisine. The chef proposes to the guests the products that have been cultivated and grown on the farm; particularly wine, oil and fruit.

In these products there is still the typical flavour of the land situated near the coast, drawing from the hot and sunny climate the richness and intensity that distinguishes them from other products.
During the summer months it is possible to taste Luigi's exquisite dishes on the panorama terrace with a broad view over the olive groves. 
The swimming pool (23m x 12m), as for adults as for children, is situated in a central position, directly in front of the hotel. The pool, open from the beginning of May until the end of September, is equipped with a pool bar, where you can refresh yourself with cold drinks from the heat of the Tuscan sun. 

AGRIHOTEL ELISABETTA, AN ITALIAN STORY...

At the age of 14 years, the vivacious Luigi Brunetti, coming from Mandatoriccio, a village of 4,000 inhabitants (of which 300 cooks) in the Province of Cosenza in Calabria, enrolled in the famous hotel school at Castelfusano, near Rome. This school offered for young and keen students the opportunity to introduce themselves into the working world. Thanks to his thirst for action he soon obtained excellent results. This was the beginning of a brilliant career taking the young Luigi to work to the best restaurants in Italy (Montecatini, Cernobbio, Villa d'Este), Switzerland (Lausanne), Spain, France (Côte d'Azur), England and finally Germany. First he had the intention to stay in Germany for only one season which was lasting for 25 years. 

During this time, he was able to create a renowned restaurant at Neu Isenburg on the outskirts of Frankfurt. His constant engagement directed towards an excellent and warm welcome, a perfect service, a good quality and price relationship, cleanliness as well as the high regard for his guests, according to the German motto "The customer is king" (dt. "Der Kunde ist König") lead Luigi to great success.
In the meantime in his private life, he realized his dream of a family, getting married with Elisabetta, who gave him three children: Leonardo, Francesca and Natalino. Notwithstanding his private and professional, by this time international success, he continued to dream of Italy... So, after passing many summer holidays on the coast in Tuscany, he decided to purchase the existing farm. 

In the beginning, Luigi had the intension to build there only the wine cellars and the farm buildings near his dwelling. But again, his love for hospitality and his will to introduce the delicious Tuscan cuisine with his own farm products, of an outstanding quality, gave origin to the idea of farmholidays. He called the farm accommodation after his wife "Elisabetta". Today, Luigi is one of the high quality wine producers in Tuscany, selling is products all over Italy and in other foreign countries like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, USA, Japan and China.
